About McKenzie

My mission is to facilitate renewal by empowering you to be an active participant in your wellness journey.

Together, we will enhance balance and support in your physical structure in order to restore a sense of ease and comfort in your daily life.

As one of only a handful of certified Rolfers in Iowa, McKenzie specializes in Rolfing® structural integration sessions. She is also trained in the Londsdale Method of lymphatic drainage massage.

In 2015, McKenzie graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and began her professional occupation as a research associate at the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic lab. After 4 years there and receiving the Rolfing 10 Series herself, she decided to pursue a career as a certified Rolfer, a path that would combine her interest in anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology with the ability to make a long lasting, positive impact in the lives of others.

She graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in 2019 after an intensive 7 month certification program and returned to Iowa to establish Dynamic Approach LLC. Her unique set of skills and experiences enables her to serve the people of central Iowa with compassion, empathy, and proficiency. She considers it an honor to be a part of each individual client’s journey towards wellness, and finds joy in being able to facilitate change as the process unfolds.

McKenzie is passionate about planting seeds and encouraging growth, both literally and figuratively. She and her husband make sustainable and regenerative practices a priority on their small acreage where they share their lives with 3 goats, 2 horses, 2 cats, and chickens. They enjoy spending time with family, volunteering through church activities, being outdoors, and traveling to new places when they get the opportunity.
